Upon reservation, we prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner for you which we will serve in our “Porcilaia”: a newly renovated independent structure that houses the kitchen and a covered area surrounded by the garden: a bright and welcoming dining room where you can eat while enjoying the splendid panorama that ranges from the nearby Castle of Valiano, up to Montepulciano and Monte Amiata and the backdrop of striking sunsets in summer as well as in winter.
Your chef is Pierpaolo. Cooking has always been his great passion that he has cultivated over the years and which has now become his specialty.
We offer simple and genuine recipes, related to Tuscan family cuisine with some forays into Sardinian cuisine (Pierpaolo is from Cagliari). We prepare homemade bread, cakes for breakfast and fresh pasta (tagliatelle, pici, ravioli and tortellini…).
Here, like the tradition wants it, dinner is a communal moment to share with our guests: we offer a 6/7 course menu.
Everything we offer is seasonal and locally produced, at zero food miles and with a controlled supply chain, we often personally know the producers, and as often possible we use the products of our organic farm: flour, cereals, vegetables, fruit, olive oil, jams and saffron.
We also organize small events and ceremonies for you, providing full organization or hosting external caterings, also without an overnight stay.
For those who want to experience the return to the flavors of the past, we prepare pizza in the wood oven once a week.
